Hey Guys!

Most sites seem to have an “About Us” pages nowadays, and I guess it’s only fair to know who you’re reading all this amazing stuff from!  My name’s Adam,  and I’m  a student at the University of Manchester UK.  After spending the last 3 or 4 years playing poker (to a somewhat debatable level!), I started doing work in the poker and gaming industry for awesome sites like uk.pokernews and gamesandluck.com.  I set up and developed this site with the help of my friends in the summer of 2009.  Ultimately my aim was to help disorientated and confused tournament players find exactly what they were looking for in terms of online tournaments, and also to give you some strategy articles to improve!  That being said, if you want to contact me or have any further suggestions for the site I’d be delighted to hear from you.  Email me at mosesbet@hotmail.co.uk

Why the Silly Name MOSESBET?

It’s true, one of the most important parts of making a website is the domain, yes.  Basically, most of the best poker domain names are taken, and I also wanted to think of something slightly strange that would attract attention from website searchers.  Moses was known also known as “the teacher” (thanks wikipedia!), and ultimately I like to think this site shares principles with that.  (The Moses in Mosesbet just sounded the best and high profile.  PutinBet was on the tables – but I didn’t want the KGB shutting it down…)
