Tournament Success and the $12 Million WSOP 2006 Victory

While Gold’s tournament success hasn’t gowned him the greatest support from fans and the poker community(his personal differences with poker sponsor Bodog and Leyser caused a huck to say the least), he’s still none the less one of poker’s better tournament players.  Bluffmagazine analysed Gold’s 2006 WSOP Main Event table play and concluded that “he transformed this strategy into an art form.”

Overall using an aggressive style of tournament strategy, Gold also has a particlar winning sustenance and defensive countenance that has endured him respect by pure poker strategists world wide.
